What irony could possibly make those appear small by comparison? Indians survived. Indians survived hundreds of years of homicidal policies only to use their remaining sovereign power to enact suicidal policies. The best efforts of the colonists to terminate us came a cropper and we invented ways to terminate ourselves.

Couldn't be more clearer. Anyone that says illegal removal is the Indian way is wrong. You had to make up a word for your illegal practice. Anyone who says we should dishonor our dead ancestors...

I hear Natives on this site say, "they should go away, and be happy they were Native for a little while". That's not how being Native works. It is not something for anyone to "take".
