Pala Chairman Robert Smith is initiating his own Indian Removal from Pala, in 2015. Where are Senators Boxer and Feinstein and the BIA to protect the rights of Native Americans?
THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING
PBMI INITIATES RETALIATION AGAINST CUPEÑO INDIANS
And so it is. Speak the truth about Pala and get punished. In an apparent desperate move on the part of the (Illegal) Pala Executive Committee, two legitimate Cupeño descendants of Warner Ranch Evictees have been placed on the Pala Band of Mission Indians meeting agenda for “EVICTION”.
The facts have been presented here on Original Pechanga Blog. The facts have not been disputed. Those facts truthfully show that Howard Maxcy, Theresa Nieto and Dion Perez are not from Pala. Now here they go again attacking the rightful descendants of Warner Ranch Evictees. In an effort to hide their proposed sinister actions they hope they can persuade the General Council of Pala to do their dirty work for them.
As a matter of fact, the only business before the General Council is evictions. There is no other business. Doesn’t anyone consider it odd that a multi-billion dollar tribe does not have any real business to discuss? What about economic development projects? What about the current financial status of the casino? What about those lands being taken into trust for the Pala Band of Luiseno Mission Indians (Old Pala) purchased with Warner Ranch Evictee moneys? What about the recent fights, shootings, vehicular accidents and other forms of assault that have occurred on the Rez over the last month? I guess these subjects are not worthy items for the Pala General Council to discuss.
So what about it (Illegal) Pala Executive Committee, why are you afraid to discuss the real business of the Band? Are you afraid that people will ask you the tough questions and demand answers? Are you afraid that your actions, if discussed, could rise to the level of a crime and you might, just might, go to jail? You really do belong in jail.
15 years and $3,000,000,000 later, that is billion with a “B”, Pala has nothing to show for it on the economic development side. Where did all those moneys go? Even the abuse of comps is staggering. According to the hotel desk clerk Robert Smith has never paid for a room at the hotel. Don’t you think the IRS should be looking into this? Yes they should. It is all income and income that has never been sanctioned by the tribe so that really makes it theft. Yet the worst thing you can do to Robert Smith is tell the truth. Only Robert Smith has the right to lie, cheat, steal and commit murder on Pala. Come on Howard, how come Robert Smith is not on the agenda for eviction?
It wouldn’t matter because the BIA, which doesn’t get involved in tribal matters, would once again override the decision of the General Council and protect Robert Smith. How does the BIA do that? The BIA’s letters are classic (and evidence). “It is the policy of the BIA not to get involved in intra-tribal matters so therefore you (THE TRIBE) cannot touch Robert Smith because we say so.”
What does it take the BIA to get involved? Will the eviction of 2 legitimate descendants of Warner Ranch Evictees be enough to get the BIA’s attention this time? I doubt it. Please, please send us one more of your letters about how you BIA cannot get involved. We are sure it is going to be fine reading for the judge.
Howard, Theresa and Dion should be concerned how this all goes because it will have a lot to do with how you are treated when the truth comes out and the rightful heirs of the Warner Ranch Evictees take their land back. It is going to happen. All you can do is delay it. All you can do is truck the other illegitimate members (family) of the band in to attend your meeting and do your bidding. (Excuse me, I mean fly them in on your personal golf jets)
Now really, the illegal use of the jets should be on the agenda. Shouldn’t it?? How many Howard? How many golf tournaments did you attend this month? How many non-members are enjoying the benefits of the Warner Ranch Evictees? Again, I bet the IRS will be very interested in those numbers. How does that work? Oh yes. The (Illegal) Executive Committee provides sponsorships allowing you to attend these golf events on behalf of the tribe so the IRS can’t question your expenses. I think the IRS said you are up to about $750,000 in unreported income with taxes and penalties due just on that area of abuse of tribal moneys alone. Really, why don’t you put that one on the agenda? What about your casino comps?
Since the Race Track business was the impetus and cover up by Robert Smith that really led to the disenrollments why isn’t that on the agenda? Aren’t you interested in the truth? If not does that mean you are getting your cut?
What about online gaming? What about the more than $100,000,000 that has been spent illegally on online gaming by the (Illegal) Executive Committee? Shouldn’t that be on the agenda?
What about the fact that Robert Smith is the chairman of the Pala Band of Luiseno Mission Indians (Old Pala). Shouldn’t that be on the agenda?
What about establishing an audit committee to oversee a real independent audit of the casino? Shouldn’t that be on the agenda?
If the (Illegal) Executive Committee has nothing to hide then each and every one of these items should be on the agenda and every legitimate Warner Ranch Evictee should be allowed to attend the meeting.
Oh I am truly sorry. If the meeting was for the legitimate Warner Ranch Evictees then Howard, Theresa, Dion and the rest of the Lugos would not be allowed to attend the meeting. What am I thinking? The BIA will make sure you are there and the BIA will again sanction your theft of our land, water, homes and money.
