Word Coming From the Pala Reservation That EVICTIONS are Imminent

Sources tell us that there are evictions coming at the Pala Reservation, which recently terminated 160 Native Americans.

Are those bodyguards that Chairman Robert Smith has hired?

Did Pechanga show them how to eliminate tribal members? Did they attend the same courses on disenrollment?

Leroy Miranada was not arrested in San Diego. He was arrested in Moreno Valley for solicitation of a MALE prostitute. HAHA! Maybe he got arrested in Hillcrest(which is in San Diego) for the same thing? I wouldn't doubt it!

Leroy Miranda was arested for solicitation of a male prostitute so this is why Leroy and Robert have each other back.

Talk about a bunch of crap. Look at all that has been accomplished since Robert became Chairman. Yes, people will rag on about him because of sheer jealousy, but face it, he knows business. I do agree however with the above posters about Leroy, talk about a scum bag. Can't have a decent conversation with him without him talking dirty nasty (and this goes for male & females), what a wonderful person to have represent your Tribe, wonder how he acts around all the politicians.....good representation folks....lol It has been known for years that these individuals should never have been enrolled in the first place. M Brittians blood degree was changed from 1/2 to 4/4 NOT the other way around. I do feel bad as many have lived there all of their lives, and feel that the Tribe will hopefully take into consideration the Elders, but as for the younger generations......have fun in the real world.

This is Leroy Miranda,I do not care if anyone knows what they know because i never read it, but i guess someone that works in the law enforcement office has the right to look up and hand out information to other indians so they can hurt a man trying to build his family I will tell you this, you better know your facts before you want to write anything, I know I can be a jerk and no good person to others, and may be the worst person on earth, and may never be anything to you and others but i really don't care anymore what others think, i just want to be alone, so you who write so fast and want to hurt me with written words, it will not work, you know where i live, tell it to my face, and yes this is LEROY H MIRANDA JR, don't hate because you can not be me, I am just trying to live this world the best i can, I am not a shame to write my name,

This damn casino just ruins family friends and the money at question is evil. Think back to when the casino was not built. Were you happy being poor or has money made you poor in happiness. I seen the effects of that casino. It is a destroyer of families money just creates problems and greed yes it has had a terrible effect on Mr Miranda and his family I have seen it first hand. So take your money that you have left and welcome to the real world

Wow, that's pretty cool, my action speaks louder than words...I wonder if that's the only crime that they can come up with

in 1987 in the Journal of the Great Basin Anthropology US in Merced there was an article titled Roscinda Nolasquez Remembered. i found it most interesting because the author had many great things to say about this tribal elder.who by the way is the great grandmother of leroy miranda jr vice chairman of pala.the historian expressed roscindas great desire to see her peoples history recorded for the future.she had a deep concern for keeping facts of their history straight and only "contempt"for those who try to distort them.the historians name is Phil Brigandi. now i ask you leroy why do you continue to "distort" the facts of our people? im not hear to put you down or call you names. i only desire whats right and what has always been right for my people past present and future generations.only contempt is sure to follow you until you come clean and make this unfair disenrollment that you and the other executive committee members created right again.contempt thats your great grandmothers wish not mine.i ve researched many things on tribal elders and the lost valley. what stood out the most was how the cupeno people held their elders and there clans (their people) with the utmost respect and pride and how they all stuck together as a tribe when times were bad and also when times were good.their respect and love for the elders that passed long ago was one of the reasons they did not want to leave cupa was it not. regaurdless of what was true and right our people where kicked off our land.now come on leroy you are doing almost the same thing to your people that the government did to our ancestor long ago . you are taking away their homes their health insurance their rights as tribal members and their rightful place in the tribe.can i ask you why?you know all those you threw out of the tribe were rightful tribal members with enough blood to have membership.so i ask you why ?how could you go against your grandmothers wishes to have our peoples history told right. look i dont care if you got in trouble in 2009 you can be with a male or female thats your choice and getting arrested for drunk in public at the casino well these things are your choice once again but as a parent of 12 i want my kids to look up to our tribal leaders and respect them ,im not wanting my tribal leader to be someone who does this kind of stuff and thinks theres nothing wrong with it because its only happened you say one time. thats not right to say as a leader of our people it only takes one time for a person to get aides, one time for a teeneage girl to get pregnant ,one time for a drunk driver to kill someone ,one time for a young adult to take pills and die ,so you saying it was only one time is bullcrap it doesnt make it ok leroy. i myself have had a struggle with living life on lifes terms but i am fully aware of my actions and the consequences that they have brought.as an adult i know the things i have done are not always right and as a recovering addict i have tried to make amends to those things. maybe you should dig deep down in your heart and do the same.make it right leroy for our people and our grandfathers and grandmothers before us. you are right about one thing leroy your actions do speak louder than words so maybe you should stop acting and start fixing the mess thats been created.show our grandfathers and grandmothers and great great great grandparents before them that our people and whats right and true are what matters and then ask for forgivness and forgive yourself.
