Is the Snoqualmie Tribal Council as Inept As The Obama Administration, or Just Corrupt

The BIA came looking to our blog yesterday, for information on the Snoqualmie Tribe's enrollment audit. It piqued my interest, so I asked my friend from Snoqualmie what it could be about, and here's that response:

Yes - our "illegal" tribal council is conducting their own enrollment audit. Our constitution calls for an annual meeting and elections every May. This last May they refused to hold the meeting and the elections because they said they had to do an "enrollment audit".

Of course, they will be the only ones to see the result and everyone is just expecting to get a form letter saying they have 30 days to contest each individual results - you will have to make an appointment, which everyone knows will be difficult to get.

It's just another way for those in power to stay in power another year or longer without elections - most of our council's terms have expired but the non-tribal administrator and their attorney's want to keep this "puppet" government in place for their own benefit - purely exploitation and fraud!

Isn't it interesting how the BIA is good at getting rid of Indians, but not at controlling the corruption?

We have links on the right sidebar that tells the Snoqualmie Story >>>

BIA is an important cog in the whole scheme of corruption...for example...James Joaquin Fletcher who is a descendant of a foul 'Indian agent' is following in his ancestor's footsteps.

Joaquin contrares (sp), as well as other agents, were very generous to themselves; helping themselves to land and other franchisements.

James Joaquin Fletcher is carrying out this tradition. His position at BIA whet his greedy appetite for what was not his.

He gathered together his band of thieves and cloaked them with his 'special' internal matters cover.

Today, Joaquin Fletcher is called president of Pechanga Development and is on council with all the other dead people. How's that for compensation for all his devilish contravention at BIA?

Of course, there are many other names Joaquin Fletcher is called by his human rights victims. However, the names cannot be repeated here.

Publicly name names.

First you have Larry EchoHawk Violating IGRA againsta court order at San Pascual. Now The BIA ignores tribal constitution violation so illegal disenrollment can happen. looks like the BIA supports illegal act and committs some off there own.

Why you always dogging Obama?...Bush was in office when you got kicked out...did he help you at all?

Obama is OUR President now and currently in office.

Bush didn't help, but then neither has Obama. There is NO Bush Administration, there IS an Obama Administration, which is inept.

Just because Bush was bad, doesn't mean Obama isn't either. Obama is worse, but he's OUR President.

Yes, blame Bush, that might make Obama look at what he's not doing.

Dear Mr. President, the former Prez didn't do anything to help us. Please give him the power to correct his mistake. Make him President for a day....

It's President Obama's duty, but then he left individual Indians off the UN declaration...didn't he?

The Snoqualmie tribal corruption should be exposed often.

There are unelected officials now "running" the tribe. That government should be deposed.

They, like Pechanga's tribal governement have acted outside the will of the people.

But don't most tribes think they are their own nation?..they say the "non-tribal" have no say over Indian tribes, yet now "our" president should help?..I agree that you guys need a spokesperson, but look at your congressmen and Senators to help, the President is a little busy right now.

Yah, Obama" is a little "Busy".."Campaining." With only a maximum of 8 years to do something good for "America," no "President" can even get anything really done. For the next "President" will just "Unravel" it all and change horses in the middle of the stream. I ask you: How can anything "Meaningfull" come about. It can't. We need too go back to allowing a "President" to have as many terms that the "People" choose to elect him too. Then, maybe, something could, actually, get done: "For Th Good Of All."

In actuality, they all think they are "Above the Law." That takes in both "Tribal Law and Civil Law." In effect, "Sovereignty" as their "Weapon Of Choice," and vertual "License to Steal." You ask about a "Spokesperson,..."Congressmen, Senators," or the like: Well now, no one has come forword on behalf of all of us who were so "Viciously Violated" of are "Inherent Rights" to be members of are "Repective Tribes" by the "Criminal and Corrupt Tribal Leaders. It would be nice, but not something that is a viable option. "Darrel Issa" could concievably help, but chooses not too. "Chickenhawk could also, but he chooses to back the "Casino Indians" every "Illegal Act." So as you can see: "Justice, in an Unjust World" we call "Indian Country," is "Non-Existent!"
