Pala Targets MORE for Extermination; Must Prove Their Innocence

The Pala Band of Mission Indians, which recently ousted eight of its members, is reportedly asking dozens of other individuals to prove they belong in the North County tribe, a move that some believe may be politically motivated.  OP:  Let's "politically motivate" of boycott of this tribal enterprise.

People who are related to the eight ousted members have reported receiving letters from the tribe's election committee asking them to submit proof that they belong in the tribe, according to two copies of the letters provided to the North County Times.

The people who have received the letters declined to be interviewed for fear of retribution from the tribe's government.   SO, PALA doesn't believe in free speech either?

The letters, dated Oct. 17, say the recipients are still enrolled in the tribe and "will continue to receive benefits" until further notice. The 900-member tribe owns the Pala Casino Spa & Resort on its reservation about 15 miles north of Escondido.

"This letter is being sent to notify you that your bloodline is in question and your enrollment is pending with the Pala Band of Mission Indians," according to the letter. "You have 30 days (from) the date of this letter to show proof of your bloodline and eligibility to be enrolled in the tribe."  OP:  30 days!?  The tribe doesn't present it's evidence against them

Doug Elmets, a spokesman for the tribal government, declined to discuss the matter except to say that enrollment questions are an internal tribal matter. OP: The same language that all exterminators of Indians use.  it's almost like they get their script from the same place...

Those who are receiving the letters are descendants of Margarita Brittain, who died in 1925. It was unclear exactly how many people may be receiving the letters, but according to sources, more than 120 people may be affected.

Greed is an excessive desire to possess wealth, goods, or abstract things of value with the intention to keep it for one's self. Greed is inappropriate expectation. However, greed is applied to a very excessive or rapacious desire and pursuit of wealth, status, and power.

As a secular psychological concept, greed is an inordinate desire to acquire or possess more than one needs or deserves. It is typically used to criticize those who seek excessive material wealth, although it may apply to the need to feel more excessively moral, social, or otherwise better than someone else.

Get the picture? That is all these "Corrupt Tribal Leaders "Subscribe" too? Heritage and Birthright be "Damned!" Just......GREED!"

This sounds more like retaliation first.

Some family members wanted to oust the council member after his arrest for sexual issues....

Anonymous calls us bitches who do not protest or do anything about our disenrollment. I know this statement to be false. Sounds like the potato or Butch, but as usual they hide behind anonymity never showing their greedy little rat asses. Come on out of your hole and be proud of who you are. If you are going to call people names have some pride and back up what you say. You know who I am punk now prove what you say.

I almost forgot to ask anonymous what it feels like to know that none of you who were behind our disenrollment had the balls to confront me the day I went to the government center and tell me that I had to leave. The place was crowded and busy that day with the enrollment whores in a meeting and that cunt of a chairman up in his office jacking off to pictures of Jenney and Irene doing the nasties. In my life I never saw such cowardly cock sucking roaches scatter like when you turn on the lights at Andy’s M’s house. None of you, not even your want a bee security did nothing. So who’s the Bitch? I could go on but I will save it for your punk ass as soon as I find out who you are, but I think I already know. I am Guero Nunez aka White Buffalo.

Time or California to wake up and allow gambling off of the reservation and out of the control of tribes that steal....they counted all of the now dis-enrolled to get government hand outs...and now that they have the Casino, they kick you off the rolls?...isn't that fraud committed against the State and the Feds?....and how many of the tribe actually live on the reservation including your Chief or just pretend that they do to to get the California tax exemption....we are all outsiders looking in at your site...you dis-enrolled have the power and the names to do something about it ...either by going to maybe NBC again or by going straight to the State Franchise Tax Board....bring light to the cockroaches and see them scurry!!...

Has anybody even tried to fill out one of these "Civil Rights Complaint Forms?" Or is this like "Walking Down Memory Lane?" I don't know! Can someone enlighten me? It seems to me that the membership voting in to "Tribal Law" that there was to be no "Disenrollments" and a year later "Disenrolled" us? Shouldn't that fall under "Civil Rights Violations" as stated above? Help me out here "CUZ." What haven't we done that we should have done? I'm willing to explore all avenues for the good of us all.

Well now, let us all look at this another way! The tide has changed all over the "Middle East" for the better. People are starting to rise up and change what has been "Broken" there for so long: "Mainly Human Rights Violations." They have finally "Had Enough!" It is time that we say: "We've Had Enough!" You have got to know that if they can do it; "We Can Do It!" All it takes is a "Movement" of all of us "Oppressed Native Americans," throughout "Indian Country," to "BAND" together for the common good and rid ourselves of these "Treasonous and Corrupt Tribal Leaders" that has brought "Shame" to our "Native American" way of life. Aren't you fed up with these "Casino Indians?" Don't you think it's about time we finally do something about these "Thieves" that have "Stolen" our "Birthright? It's not going to be easy, but what ever is! We need to get the word out, and this time: "Get the word out!" We "can not" keep standing on the sidelines hoping that this will fix itself, "It Won't!" Yes, we have made great stides, but we are basically "Barking at the Wind!" We need to have another "Protest/Rally," this time only when we get the help from other "Tribes!" A huge task, "Yes," it will be, but we have nothing "But" time! We need to show these "Casino Indians" that we are no longer "Sheep to the Slaughter," We need to set a date, far enough ahead, that our "Native American Brothers" can stand with us for the common good of all of us that have been "Cheated" out of what is rightfully ours: "Our Heritage and Birthright." Stop being afraid "OF THE BIG BAD WOLF!" Countrys' have toppled their "Corrupt Dictators," and so can we. It is time to "Stand Tall" and take back what is rightfully ours. For "Failure is not an Option!" It is important to know that the protests in the "Middle East" took on a life of its own, and the momentum from same brought to bare "Change!" That is what has to happen in "Indian Country: Change! Bring back the rights of all "Native Americans" under their respective "Constitutions and ByLaws" and follow "Tribal Laws" that have "Stood the Test of Time" before the advent of the "Casinos." For if we don't: "All Will Be Lost!" You have nothing to Lose, and "Everything to Gain!" So get "Mad," I mean "Really Mad," and take back what is ours. The "Civil Rights Movement" did it, and the "Middle East" is doing it: SO WHY NOT US? "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained!" There is "Truth in our Conviction." We can "Prove Who We Are," and now it is time to force the Issue. "Might Makes Right!" I'm ready, "How about all of You?" We can "MAKE THIS HAPPEN!" But it will take all of us. You have got to "Want It!" For we can do this!

I posted this again because we need to go after these "Thieves," because the problem "Won't Fix Itself."

I think its a violation of my civil rights not to let me go to my land on pechanga,I am going to that U.S attorney,s office on lemon st to file charges against the council!

Great work, at least get them on record, even if it's to say "We won't help you."

Then we can go further.

Are all of the enrollment committees from these tribes morons or what?

In tribe after tribe they say they are merely correcting an error made in the membership rolls.

So why were people, if they really didn't belong, enrolled in the first place?

So if all of these people were members before gaming, and they really didn't belong being there in the first place, are all of these tribes guilty of lying to the federal government to get more funds for having bigger tribes when they didn't have gaming revenue which they don't need so much anymore since they now have gaming?

In the case of Pechanga, a Hunter family elder actually has her original enrollment card and a date stamped approval letter from the enrollment committee years before the tribe got the casino signed by four people who, while still on the committee, voted against her tribal membership or who submitted statements against her membership when the Hunters were disenrolled years later after the tribe had gaming.

So were they lying years before when they enrolled her or were they lying years later when they disenrolled her?

"Let's see how long it takes for the Pala disenrolled to give up like the Hunters and Apis families did”

To the retarded Indian who made this statement.
What, have you to be the living on a Island or so drunk and high, The Hunter have not gave up, we are still here on this site and the Rez and there is nothing you can do about that. We made major strives, just ask Mark Macarro about the water lawsuit. You must be so ignorant (Casino Indian). The Indian Civil War just beginning, There are many Laws and avenues too those laws and it is just a matter of time, so in the meantime you and your families better start looking at your family line and gather all your paper work because it is jus a matter of time. Corruption always come to and end and money and power will not help you. Give you some examples in history, 1945 Hitler Kills himself and Mussolini is killed by his own, 2006 Saddam Hussein is executed, then there is Kadhafi and the Prime Minister Ion Antonescu of Romania killed by his own and the list goes on and on. You have one thing in common is that your money will save you, if you think so, go and ask these people because they thought they were in full control, until all was lost. Remember History Always Repeats Itself. Hide behind your false documents it is just a matter of time and we are going forward.

Question: Has anyone ever tried to file, with the U.S. Attorney, this "Civil Rights Complaint Form? Or is this just a trip down "Memory Lane?" Or is this just another execise "In Fuitilty?" It stands to reason that if "Pechanga" voted into "Tribal Law" that there would be no "Disenrollments" then a year later disenrolled the "Hunter" clan. That there in itself violates our "Civil Rights." Of course we all know that, but what's with this U.S. Attorney? "Cuz," help me out here? Anonymous said...

These are all true statements that, just maybe, the U.S. Attorney could address? I need more input about what we have tried to do, and what we haven't, for what ever reason, so I can get a better handle on where we stand, and why. What have we "Got to Lose?" Don't we have "Nothing But Time?" I wonder if we could get a copy of this form, post it, everyone sign each well documented form, print it out, then bombard the U.S. Attorney? It is worth a shot? What say all of you? We should be able to get "EVERONE" to at least sign a "Well Documented Civil Rights Compaint Form" if it is posted? Why not?

Ha Ha! Kindly notice the difference between all the despots who were killed by those against them.

Those stuggling against the oppressors stood strong and fought, just living on the rez is meaningless if you don't do anything.

Khadaffi was killed by those who were willing to give up their lives to get rid of him. YOU people aren't even willing, for the most part to give up a few hours in protest. How many of the 500 disenrolled and moratorium did you have at your last protest? (including spouses and kids)

You guys are pathetic. That's why Pechanga doesn't "fear" you. Most of you are quitters when the going got tough.

What is this "Sticks and Stones?" Wait and see what it feels like to be "Bitch Slapped! "You have got to "Love it!" For "What comes around, goes around!" A Cuz of mine said that, and "Justice will be Done." All in good time. So "Hide and Watch!" The times are "A Changing," for the better with every passing day. For the new "Big Bad Wolf" will be: You guess it, "The D.O.J., and the F.B.I." Not the most "Energentic Organizations" around, but they have their "Moments!" Then we will all see who the real "Bitches Are?" Are you one of them?

I said "What comes around, goes Around, on purpose! Did you get that one, Cuz? That would make it "Full Circle!" For these "Thieves" dish it out, Now wait and see who will be doing the "Shoveling back at them? The Government can stack their own "Pile," and "Mark and his Henchmen," are to be, the recipients of "Said Pile!"

what is the 1985 document king freeman talks about in the north county article that made his great grandmother 1/2 pala instead of full blood.

Anonymous said...

That must be the Tom Dowell recommendation, which was over ruled because he did no research.Look up the appeal, you'll find a whole list of exhibits that support the case of those who were wrongfully disenrolled.

Anonymous said...

well maybe the pala tribal member who is so heavily involved with the pechanga gang could shed some light on this problem---he has caused alot of problems for his family/children--but they don't care about their children never have now they will be disenrolled over this.

The only ones responsible for the MESS IN PALA,is the EXECUTIVE COMMITEE,don't try to put this on no one else! Don't be suprised if the tribe is in FINANCIAL TROUBLE, why else would they be in need of a smaller roll?

Casino or No casino...we ALL have the same blood coursing through our veins... Let's try to continue with native integrity , no matter where THIS trail of tears ends.
