Pechanga Resort & Casino Promise Comes with EXPIRATION DATE

Pechanga Resort & Casino Temecula, CA

As we noted yesterday, the Pechanga Resort & Casino laid off over 4500 of their employees.  This was part of the Pechanga announcment and the last line of their press release:

Pechanga Team Members will receive their base pay and benefits during this temporary closure.

This "promise" lasted six days.  The temporary closure benefits doesn't mean what employees, who were searched before leaving on their last shift, were led to believe.
The Pechanga "family" is left out in the cold, like disenrolled tribal members.

I will guarantee the Tribal Members will still get their Per Capita payments. They will also ask the federal government for support via the bailout bills to fund their 'loss of revenue' even though they have made and distributed Billions to members. Since it is a casino.... I will bet my life savings that both of these things happen - any takers?
