...San Manuel Tribes $100,000 per month doesn't buy happiness

Members of San Manuel Tribe of San Bernardino are making over $100,000 per month in per capita. That's uh...um... $1,200,000 per year. And, some of them, still want to be part of the Mexican Mafia? There are issues about the two members in a MURDER-FOR-HIRE conspiracy that are getting VERY lenient sentencing.

The PE has the story. The victim says:

"These people are being considered for short-term sentences, using house arrest and probation," Epps wrote. "Wow, to think that it is okay to seek out the services of death through murder-for-hire and get a pass on liability."

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a couple of murderers.

AFTER READING THE PE ARTICLE I AM CONVINCED THAT THE SAN BERNARDINO D.A. MADE A DEAL WITH THE TRIBE..I spend many happy hrs.with family members and friends at the Brass Key, it was a low key atmosphere and the food was good and cheap, we where sorry to hear about the closure...I can understand Mr.Epps's feeling on the punishment for these Tibal members. Just how will this so called punishment be enforced by the Authorities, hmmmmm?????

That would be an excellent question to ask Carol Goldberg. Is it a civil rights violation for the police to enforce a house arrest action on the rez?
