Former Chukchansi Leader Dustin Graham Walks On

Dustin Graham former Tribal Chair from Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians has walked on.
Graham was on the PRCI Tribal Council and a chairman,  which disenrolled 600 Chukchansi citizens in 2006-2007 and tried to disenroll more subsequently.  He was 49 years old.

At a CA Native American Caucus event in Sacrament, he spoke AGAINST a resolution providing sanctions for disenrolling tribes:

Chairman Dustin Graham of the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians then made a statement to the membership regarding sovereignty and the danger this resolution would create. His statement is attached to these minutes as a record of the objections to the resolution. He asked that all tribal members remember so difficult the battle has been to maintain tribal sovereignty and the court cases still ongoing.

Harold Hammond, also a disenroller from the PRCI also recently passed. My justice come to the disenrolled Chukchansi people

May the Creator grant them the peace, they did not provide for their own people.

Pala Reservation should seek to change it's name to "THE VALLEY OF DEATH".
In as little as 4 months there has been at least 6-7 tribal members pass on.
That number wouldn't be so bad if it contained couple of names that do not deserve to breath the same air as everyone else.
