Hey, Disenrolled, Moratorium Bound, YES, YOU, THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER, QUIT WATCHING from the Cheap Seats

You mean, we didn't get re-enrolled the ONE time you came to a protest?  You wrote ONE letter to your congressman and he didn't fall all over himself fighting for your rights?  You went to the archives that time...eight years ago and the tribe didn't take your evidence?  SO you're quitting, you don't want to help?  You  don't think we'll ever win?
No, the fight for our rights is not over.  So stop whining that you can’t go back to sitting on your rear end – there is still much to do.  I know you’re frustrated. And I don’t care.
More people want to throw in the towel just as we are approaching some success.  News flash: Our opponents punch back.  Did anyone think they wouldn't continue to fight back, to protect their ill gotten gains and power?   The fight’s up ahead, and we’re going to keep moving to the seats of power, our Congress and the Interior Department.
Many of us are jolted by their disenrollments.  Many expect immediate action, but that is simply not the case, when have we seen quick action?   Laws take time, getting politicians to move takes longer.  SO WHAT?  What are doing in the meantime?   Keeping up with the KARDASHIANS?  SHAME ON YOU.

Do we give up?  Or fight on?   Some of you the answer is easy, you've already given up, so no big deal.  That means you don't care, you don't appreciate what our ancestors struggled to accomplish and you could give a rat's ass that your children or your sisters children gain their rights back, or that those who abused us, never have to pay for doing that.
SNAP out of it!  It's human nature for the greedy like Mark Macarro of Pechanga or the DESPICABLE ROBERT SMITH of Pala or the stumbling, bumbling incompetents of the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians to try to get away with as much as possible.  It's ALSO human nature to fight to protect oneself, our children, our family.   YOU CAN'T DO THAT by WATCHING. Find your WARRIOR SPIRIT and help achieve justice.
Here is a strategy for success --   Get into the battle.  How? Use your computer, your social media, your phones, your fax machines.  Use them as arrows in your quiver.   One arrow won't bring the leviathan down, but many arrows will.  One straw won't break the camel's back but many will.    The alternative is to let those that have stolen what is rightfully ours, get away with it and sleep easy knowing you didn't have the stomach for it.  You won't win ANY battle if your itty bitty feelings get hurt.  Your feelings mean NOTHING to those that kicked your ass in the first fight.  FIGHT BACK!
Call your congressional office, ask their position of the civil and human rights abuses.  Point them in the direction of the issues.

Here are some facts:
1. We have made strides getting disenrollment on the front burner.  Don't think so?  Take a look at the two leading Native American sites, Indian Country Today and Indianz.com   Both have run multiple stories on the issue the past 18 months.  That's progress we shouldn't fritter away. How many have YOU commented on? How many have you shared on Facebook and Twitter.
 2. We have scored victories over rich casino tribes.   We beat back Pechanga's theft of water rights TWICE in the past five year.   The Nooksack have had their disenrollments delayed.  The BIA has stepped into Chukchansi. The NIGC has SHUT DOWN their casino.
3. At this moment, the GOP controls Congress, not the Democrats who got rich from casino tribes and their lobbyists. While both sides will follow the money, we at least know the GOP will have some sense of shame over what they do. Delays cost tribes money.  If we delay, we succeed.  New, younger congresspeople are coming up.  They need to be educated, and educated BY US.
4. We are outworking and outthinking our withered, hateful, failed opponents. Many leaders with connections are getting older, sloppier and more complacent.  They are defending the status quo, and who is happy with that?  I've heard from congress that there could be a couple willing to expend their political capital.  We need to give some assurance that they are doing it for a good reason, because we have a lot of voters behind them

The pouters have to come out every time we don’t slam dunk a win and start their defeatist muttering.  We can't have that.  We need positive energy to score victories, no matter how small.  Who are you helping if you sit idly by? Your kids?  Nope, tribes.

I don’t want to hear about how hard this fight is. I don’t want to hear how sad you are. I want to hear how you went out and did something.  Attended a protest, wrote a letter, commented on newspaper articles on tribal injustice, shared a post, a tweet.   Did you tell your friends how your family was screwed?  Did you tell your teacher, your classmates at your high school reunion?

If you have been in the fight, this letter isn't to YOU, it's to  your brother who is too lazy to write a letter, but would knock your ass over to get a check if that happened.

I am PECHANGA, and it pains me to know that the tribe that disenrolled me and my family, check MY BLOG more often than my FAMILY.   They care more about the issue, than those who they harmed.   How disgraceful....

No one is alone, or doing more than anyone else. Either you can or can not take a moment each day, hope you can. Maybe you can put your name out their for all to see, or maybe you can't. Whatever you do, it's ok. Hopefully spreading the truth is more useful than pointing your fingers at others in your clan and say "I" do more than "ALL" because I ASSUME SO. Thank you "ALL" for everything you do, try to do and don't do. We Are "ALL" here for a reason. The book has been written. Enjoy the ride!

The tribe as a whole votes "on a moratorium" not the enrollment office?

Give me the date of the tribal meeting on the moratorium vote please?

Those in the moratorium should ASK for a letter stating the moratorium, which was designed to help the enrollment committee get the record correct, will take an additional three years...
