Pechanga's Hack Thinks We Should Give Up The Fight For OUR Rights As Original Pechanga People

MORE on Pechanga HACK'S comments

EB, the resident Pechanga Hack made a comment in a previous post :

They may wish to consider instead their fortune as citizens of the greatest nation on Earth. They should orient themselves to basking in the sunshine. They will then enjoy their lives more.

I believe that if Pechanga would have taken this advice, and not fought for 50 years to get the tribe's water rights, denied by law and courts, restored and clarified by Congress, the storage would be dry.   WHY DIDN'T the TRIBE QUIT?  In fact, on that issue, we didn't quit either, getting critical amendments to the bill that protected the water rights of Temecula Indian Reservaton allottees in 2010 and again in 2015 with Barbara Boxer's people, who admitted that Macarro's lobbyist wife wrote the bill.

Trump's new Interior Secretary RYAN ZINKE gives a civil and human rights abusing tribe water rights that should include reservation allottees.

Interior Executes Water Rights Settlement Agreement with Pechanga Band of Luiseño Mission Indians
WASHINGTON – U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke and Mark Macarro, Chairman of the Pechanga Band of Luiseño Mission Indians today signed the Pechanga Water Rights Settlement Agreement (Agreement), formally executing a Congressionally authorized pact that protects the Pechanga Band’s access to groundwater in the region and provides the tribe with more than $30 million in federal funding to pay for water storage projects.

Reps. Ken Calvert, Jared Huffman and Duncan Hunter Letter on Pechanga STEALING Reservation Allottees Water Rights

Well, they've done it again.  Congressman Ken Calvert has literally carried Pechanga's Water Bill, which we've opposed for 6 years, now designated HR 5982, which will eliminate water rights to reservation allottees that live on the reservation, yet have been stripped from their tribal citizenship, and all rights included.

Apparently, Calvert doesn't care about civil and human rights abuses, the apartheid system on the reservation, not the segregation and elder abuses. Even the BIA's AMY DUTSCHKE admitted that we have RIGHTS. WE ARE STILL waiting to be informed, Mark Macarro intimated in a letter to the House Natural Resources committee that we were kept informed.  He LIED again...

I've published a letter just sent Reps. Calvert, Hunter, Ruiz and Huffman...Please consider sending a fax too.
