Manhattan Film Festival to OPEN WITH the Powerful Documentary on Tribal Disenrollment You're NO INDIAN

The award winning documentary that the Palm Springs International Film Festival DID NOT want America to see, You're No Indian, will screen on opening night Friday June 12 at the Manhattan Film Festival!

Previous showings of this powerful film have sold old quickly.   If you have family and friends close to Manhattan, suggest this for an evening out.

Tribal disenrollment is the process by which a Native American tribe strips an individual of their tribal citizenship or membership, cutting them off from their people and heritage.

"Unjust" disenrollment refers to instances where this power is abused. It happens when legitimate members are expelled—often over internal family disputes, political corruption, or to increase casino per-capita payouts for remaining members.   Tribal leaders will say it's NOT about the money, but the over $1 BILLION in lost/stolen per capita payments and health care coverage, shows that to be A LIE.
