NEW Disenrollment Activity at Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians.

Just days after the justice at Enterprise Rancheria, a tribe that restored membership to many disenrolled over a decade ago, it seems like the leadership of the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians are using tribal disenrollment as their personal plaything.

Word coming from Chuckchansi is that some more disenrollment letters went out.

The faction that is made of distributees received letters of disenrollment. This faction is being called "a tribe" by John Peebles and the 7 Tribal Council members. This was the Wyatt-Ramirez clan I believe who at one time wanted only their group to make up the tribe. (KARMA?)

The letter accused them of "duel enrollment". Which is a violation of enrollment in our Constitution. The letter was apparently signed by "the enrollment committee", Martha Rodriguez.

The PRCI tribe has been without an enrollment committee for at least two years. The enrollment director is Martha Rodriguez, she is not a committee. How come this new Council can't follow policy and procedures.

There are warning letters, of sanctions going out. A member spoke out about the ignorance of this Tribal Council's work (on Facebook). They reportedly tried to get her removed from the meeting for breaking a rule that doesn't exist (signing in).

It seems like this is the time to take the tribe back from leaders who are corrupt.
