You're No Indian Wins Prestigious Award at the ARIZONA International Film Festival

The film that was pulled from the Palm Springs International Film Festival, YOU'RE NO INDIAN, that shows Indian Country what a journey 11,000 Native Americans have survived after being stripped of their tribal citizenship.  While there is silence from the Chiefs and Chairmen, who ignore the civil and human rights abuses, the industry has taken notice 

The film was chosen to close the festival and it was awarded the Special Jury Award for Activist Filmmaking. The film helps re-ignite the movement to make politicians aware of what the National Congress of American Indians ignores.

 

The film was shown to a PACKED theater, as have most of it's showings.   Please be on the lookout for the next screenings.
