Marilyn Vann, Cherokee member who was President of the Descendants of Freedmen of the Five Civilized Tribes Association, and who was the warrior who fought for DECADES for the treaty rights of the Cherokee Freedmen, to a successful conclusion,  WILL BE HONORED by the CHEROKEE NATION.

The 66th Annual Cherokee National Holiday Awards Banquet will be held on Aug. 30 .   Congratulations Marilyn Vann
