FAUXAHONTAS (Elizabeth Warren) DISCOVERS Dakota Pipeline; Heitkamp Pissed at Army Corp

AMAZING, Fake Elizabeth Warren discovered #NoDAPL this weekend!

For months, the Standing Rock Sioux and thousands of others have opposed a pipeline that many believe risks contaminating the tribe’s water supply. What have they faced in response? Attack dogs. Rubber bullets. Tear gas. Water hoses in freezing temperatures.

A 21-year-old graduate of Williams College in Massachusetts had her arm nearly destroyed. And last week, the governor directed state and local agencies to refuse emergency assistance as a way to expel the tribe and their “water protector” supporters.

The response to Warren hasn’t been very kind. Here’s a sample of messages left on her Facebook page:

  • ” Oh NOW you want to say something?? Can’t take a stand when it’s tough? Can’t stand to stand alone? What’s new with you?”
  • “Waiting until the last minute to say or do anything, just like you did in the primary. You’re not a leader. You’re pathetic.”
  • “You’re about 10 months late to the party. You’re a phony. Stop acting like you care.”
  • “Too little, too late. Worthless.”
  • “You’re several days late. Like months. So disappointing.”
  • “You seemed like such a shining light! What the hell happened to you in the last couple of years?”
  • “Sick of hearing you talk but not do anything!”
  • “YOU ARE A JOKE TO US NOW.”
  • “You’re silent for months then pop up out of nowhere with this feigned concern? Laaaaaaaaame.”
  • “Jesus, don’t hurt yourself jumping on that bandwagon, Liz. Too little, too late. This should have been addressed months ago.”
  • “SHE HAD ME RIGHT UP TO THE LAST PARAGRAPH AND THEN SHE LOST ME WHEN SHE TALKED ABOUT FINDING A NEW ROUTE FOR THE PIPELINE. NO !! NO NEW ROUTE, NO PIPELINES.”
There’s a lot more like this among the 3,000+ comments that have already been left.

North Dakota Senator Heitkamp NOT HAPPY in her statement:

“It’s long past time that a decision is made on the easement going under Lake Oahe. This administration’s delay in taking action -- after I’ve pushed the White House, Army Corps, and other federal agencies for months to make a decision -- means that today’s move doesn’t actually bring finality to the project. The pipeline still remains in limbo.
The incoming administration already stated its support for the project and the courts have already stated twice that it appeared the Corps followed the required process in considering the permit. For the next month and a half, nothing about this project will change. For the immediate future, the safety of residents, protesters, law enforcement, and workers remains my top priority as it should for everyone involved. As some of the protesters have become increasingly violent and unlawful, and as North Dakota’s winter has already arrived – with a blizzard raging last week through the area where protesters are located -- I’m hoping now that protesters will act responsibly to avoid endangering their health and safety, and move off of the Corps land north of the Cannonball River.”
