i called the number i have for eric holders office at the doj today, and found it had been disconnected! then i called information for washington dc, got another number for doj, and when i called that no-one answered!

so, what gives at doj? does anyone out there have a valid number for doj, or specifically eric holders office?

the picayune tribal council acted unconstitutionally even in 2006 when over 500 chukchansi people were disenrolled...

there is absolutely NO provision for disenrollment ANYWHERE in the picayune constitution...furthermore, the constitution states that there can be no violation of the indian civil rights act...WHAT A FARCE!!!!

thus far at picayune, over 1,000 chukchansi citizens have been disenrolled--YES, i said OVER ONE THOUSAND CHUKCHANSI PEOPLE!!!

seems that the picayune tribal government must have made quite the mistake when receiving all those federal grant monies for those suddenly termed "illegal aliens" after chukchansi gold was built--

so now almost two-thirds of picayune chukchansi people never really were "chukchansi from picayune" or even chukchansi--or indian--at all?

not only should picayune no longer qualify as a tribe due to the lack of government to government relationship and a total disrespect for it's own ancestors, blood, history and culture...

the tribal government should be held accountable by congress and federal authorities for the embezzlement and misuse of federal funds, as well as the blatant tribal, civil, and human rights violations it has perpetrated against over a thousand chukchansi people over the past decade or more...

CONGRESS needs to use it's plenary power to stop these horrendous abuses of thousands of indian people by their corrupt tribal governments (and their "legal counsels" who drive and mastermind their corrupt decisions and profit financially from them on a HUGE scale as well, for that matter)...THEY HAVE A TRUST RESPONSIBILITY TO DO SO!!!!

MUST mean they are only counting as council reggie lewis, jennifer stanley, and nancy ayala...as ousted council person chance alberta (who claims he is still on council, as does reggie lewis, because of an "invalid" election) reportedly left town after threats to his person and/or family and nokomis hernandez is reportedly now jumping both sides of the fence as to where he actually stands on the disenrollment and dual council debacles at picayune...

HOWEVER, everyone knows any RECOGNIZED--shall i say LEGAL-- council consists of SEVEN members at picayune--therefore, NEITHER council is valid...

AND there has to be a VALID council to have a government to government relationship with the united states, THEREFORE...for all intents and purposes picayune is no longer a tribe, should not be funded by federal grants, and should not be permitted to operate a casino until it brings ALL the people home in a UNITED general council, and elects a fair and impartial tribal council which consists of SEVEN chukchansi HUMAN BEINGS who act on behalf of ALL our people, and for the greater good of ALL our people...

The Chukchansi council is making a mockery of Indian Country. They should be ashamed of themselves.

They could LEAD the way in bringing ALL the rightful people home and throw that in the face of tribes like Pechanga and Redding.
