BIA FOIA FOIBLES FORCE FEDS To FIND FREEDOM of Information Act FAIRNESS in Gabrieleno Native's Suit

Emilio Reyes

Word from the courtroom on the meeting with noted researcher Emilio Reyes, of Gabrieleno descent, who's fast becoming a FOIA expert and Attorney for the Justice Dept. Katherine Parker, one that finds common ground, DOING THE RIGHT THING.

Emilio reports:  This a mutual agreement and educational session between them and me. Both judge and attorney were still unclear on some of the procedures on FOIA, including consent, privacy act rules, etc. so I helped enlightened them on that and now it makes more sense rather then them just reading the details.

DOJ attorney Parker did tell the court the BIA is non-compliant judging by some of the exhibits she witnessed.

The next meeting is in DECEMBER.  Stay TUNED, and STAY involved.

It looks like progress on the FOIA front. If you can prove intent to conceal that would be anice important step towards showing how the BIA has acted to cover up errors, and to undermine tribal self-determination by opposing legal rectification
